knob cuffs for fastpitch?

The rules on knob cuffs have changed over the years in slowpitch. But I was wondering if knob cuffs are legal in fastpitch? And does it change for youth fastpitch?
I'm in a strange predicament and I was wondering if I could just add a knob cuff to my daughters fastpitch bat to solve her problem?

Not sure of her association...but what are you trying to correct?

I kinda figured someone would ask. The team coach has requested all the girls to choke up on the bat. Something about the knob restricting their swing. Rather than to argue his technique I have told my daughter to follow the rest of the girls.

But now her bat is too short for her. I thought I could use a knob cuff until either this blows over or I get her a longer bat. lol.

It's was intended to be a temporary thing until I realized that the knob cuff may be illegal in Softball Canada fastpitch.

Fair enough answer...sorry I only asked as I thought it may be for another reason.
Sorry I cant help on the legality. All my searching came up as legal BUT I could be wrong.

I'll have to look into but I'm pretty sure they are allowed. I'll double check. My daughter always choked up a little for more bat control since she was more of a place hitter than power. What size bat is your daughter using?
