Could be a relic of the past, weren't grey dots considered RF? Anyway, I'll hopefully hit some in the morning and report back.
RF = reduced flight?
Grey dots probably were reduced flight back when bats were super stiff, due to a lower COR. With composite bats and insane trampoline effect though? no way.

I'm not sure these are "restricted flight" balls as much as they are simply "ASA-certified" balls.

ASA rules: 12" balls must weigh at least 6.750 oz. (typically come in between 6.75 - 7 oz)
USSSA rules: 12" balls must weigh 6.4 ounces +/- 0.2 oz.

Yes.

Anyway I hit these a bit today outside in -4C, they basically felt like a Worth gold/grey dot. Performance was very good, only HR I hit was with one of these. Covers are crap though, slick and don't seem that durable.

Makes sense. I weighed a bunch of balls last night, all utrip and they came in around 6.4 +.2 and two of the ASA balls at 6.9 and 6.94. It's just a heavier ball.

Just got mine in, these balls are fairly heavier than my others.

Measured mine at 7.0 oz, 4 of them all the same.
Measured a bunch of my other balls most varied from 6.3 - 6.5 oz.

These balls will be good for breaking in the new 240 bat stamped bats . Hit with a 240 Pure last night and the PSI dropped quite a bit after 50 swings.
