best DC41 since 2014?

A lot of DC41 models came out since the OG white 2piece. Which one do you prefer and why?

I loved the OG when it came out, once broken-in the pop was just insane. Imo the DC41 ri was close if not just as good. The ri did have a better feel on contact which is why i put it as my gamer. Definitely not the same bat since the ri breaks in much faster IMO.

As for the 2015 and 2016, i havent hit enough balls with either yet to tell. My buddy's well broken-in 2015 hits the ball a ton, and my 2016 was pretty hot out of the wrapper compared to the others.

In order for me atm :

1) OG or ri
2) 2015
3) 2016

Reverse that order for me, though 2016 and 2015 were both about the same in my eyes with 2016 feeling slightly "softer" but same performance.

I'd imagine all worked in to their potential would be fire sticks meaning it's up to the user to see which works best for them.

Ive swung them all and end up back at my white red knob. Didnt see much difference in the camo vs the black.

They always are.

This is the one I'm most interested in. I've been swinging the maxloads better than the Supermax lately. I'm still not sure it will replace my TC though

I found the following personally, and would prefer the OG 2PC DC for that reason.

Seemed to me each year, the barrels got softer out of wrapper. Broke in faster sure, but by mid season with them felt like you were trying to rip hot dots with a piece of foam (feel wise - just got too soft with the hot and humid balls. Prefer a nice crack of the ball in a bat).

I preferred the White with Red knob DC as it seemed to retain that hot af level but crisp stiff barrel longer than any version after it. I didn't care much for the 2 follow ups, albeit like the extra load in them. Could not get with their softer feel.

Noticed the same about the Legit lines tbh. Favourite Legit to swing is still the $99 National Special 2104 ones (actually listed as 2015 I believe - Grey with Orange lettering). The follow ups were great, but again softer feeling and much sooner.

When hitting the Hot Dots, I prefer a little stiffer barrel to feel it as much as possible, especially in the super hot humid days. Could be why I gravitated towards Knighthawk and Flex this year more than anything after a brief love affair with the Freak 12 in 2015.

Don't think performance wise you'll find one way greater than the other. I think it was mostly a feel thing and break in time that may produce different opinions. Just my 2 cents. To each their own.

I agree with the above post, with the hot dot ball the og dc is my favorite of all time. What did you think of the RI?

Personally, no experience with that one other than dry swings for weight comparisons. Have only hit the "OG", Black DC and Camo/Black DC. I guess you can add the Black/Blue Triad in there, which again to me was much like the OG DC vs Freak Black that came after. Same opinion there, the older ones stayed stiffer and crisper longer while still hot af.

By the time the RI came out, I had move on to the Freak 12 personally.

Now I don't currently swing neither Miken or Worth at the time being. Pretty stuck on 2 other bats/brands.

White OG's for sure IMO. RI's were solid, and swung better with the smaller knob, but OG's once broken in were the hottest bat around. I've had I think 4 OG's and 3 RI's and not one RI has come close in distance. Actually swung them side by side today(without reading this post) and no comparison.

Black 2015's I swung many times and hated it. Way too much endload and not nearly the pop of the white.

Can't comment on the camo(haven't swung one) but I've heard they are pretty good.

I've hit them all, but first of all on the west coast we are still using gold dot balls in league and tournaments, so my results are the reverse.

I prefer the digi cammo, then the black matte DC, followed by the OG.

My preference of the 2 pc DC's are in this order.
1- OG white DC
2-digi camo DC
3-re issue white DC
4-Black DC
