Thumbs up Jak'd Blackout Review

Well I finally got around to going to Big League Sports to buy a JAK'D Blackout 28 oz softball bat. Thanks to this unusually warm November weather I was able to take the bat out for a couple rounds of batting practice this weekend. As usual I was using 6 .47 core NSA Demarini softball bats and it was a balmy 19 degress celsius outisde.

Like most JAK'd bats the bat was very stiff at first. The first 20 balls didn't realy go very far. Mind you I had the same problem with the original JAK'd bat.
However by the time I got to 40 balls the Blackout was starting to open up and hit as well as the original JAK'd.

I think I need to put a few more hundred hits on this bat before I give my second review on this bat. It seems to have the smae potential as the first JAK'd bat but I won't know until spring 2009.

I also swung this bat last weekend when they first can inand after the first round the bat opened up nice.By the third round it felt and sounded liked the first jakd and performed great. This bat is NSA and USSSA approved and this weapon will be in my Boombah bag. Also this is more endloaded that the first Jakd which I like more.

Also keep you eyes open for TEAM BLACKOUT next year.
